Camelina Oil for Horses


Gold Star EQ™ is cold-pressed camelina oil, a nutritional storehouse of essential fatty acids and antioxidants. Camelina oil provides a 2:1:1 ratio of the omega fatty acids omega-3, omega-6, and omega-9. Camelina oil also provides specific vitamin E tocopherols: alpha, delta, and gamma. Vitamin E is an important antioxidant for horses.


Gold Star EQ is a vibrant, high-quality oil; only 1-2 ounces once or twice per day is needed.

Gold Star™ Camelina oil is derived from the plant Camelina sativa, also known as gold-of-pleasure, false flax, wild flax, German sesame, and Siberian oilseed.


Gold Star EQ™ is never heat-processed. It is unrefined and not solvent-extracted like vegetable, corn, soy, and rice bran oils. Free of preservatives, emulsifiers, ethyl butarate, vanillin, natural and artificial flavorings.

Directions for Use:

1-2 ounces once or twice per day.

Best product out there

The best and healthiest oil for horses

I love Gold Star EQ because it enhances my horses’ coats and it is the perfect winter oil to give them with the change of seasons. A little goes a long way because of the high quality.
